Granada is a nice day trip from Madrid. It's about a 3-hour bus ride one way. There is a breathtaking Hammam there that I highly recommend (it looks like the same company also has locations in Madrid if you're not up for a day trip). If you have more time to wander past Granada, Vélez Rubio is charming, especially on Sundays when families gather.
